Ann has always been passionate about health and fitness - being active, staying fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family.
Since yoga is a system of health and wellness, Ann initially began practicing yoga for its physical benefits. Over time, yoga has given her a deeper sense of calm and a greater awareness of self. Yoga has taught Ann to be more mindful, more patient, and more accepting and open. Ann applies the same ideals she learned through her practice to relationships and endeavours in her personal and professional life. The underlying belief in peace and love are at the very core of her constitution, and form the foundation on which she can build her character.
Ann is a mother of three children who bring joy to her blessed life. Having lived in the Richmond Hill, ON area for over two decades, she feels a strong sense of community and belonging here. Ann feels compelled to make meaningful contributions back to her community through volunteer work and activism.
As a lifelong learner, Ann is open to new thoughts, ideas, and experiences, endeavouring to continue to grow in all aspects of her life - mind, body, and spirit.
Ann encourages students to come to their mats with an open heart and open mind. She reminds them to honour their body and acknowledge their authentic self. Ann's classes focus on strength, balance, flexibility, stamina, and alignment, allowing students to cultivate an inner awareness that connects mind, body and breath together for maximum benefit.
